From Nigeria to Lesotho, Riders for Health’s fleet of vehicles facilitates emergency referrals, transports samples and supplies, and mobilises community health workers. Having turned 70 earlier this year and being time-rich following the end of my term as President of Selkirk RFC, I decided it would be a good time to take on a lifetime’s ambition of cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
